HCG Recipes You'll Actually Enjoy
The HCG Diet Plan is an effective diet plan that uses the natural hormone HCG as part of it's regimen.
And it's great for safe and effective weight loss. But it does require a restrictive calorie intake.
And we know that can be hard sometimes.
So we've gathered three of our favorite HCG-friendly recipes that are perfect for boosting energy, reducing appetite and keeping you on your HCG Plan!
HCG Recipe #1 - Strawberry Vanilla Frappuccino
There are so many variations of this recipe, let your mind go wild.
Use 4-5 ice cubes or more if you’d rather make a snow cone.
Start with a handful of fresh strawberries; mix with the ice cubes, a dropper full of natural vanilla Stevia sweetener and mix until blended to the texture of choice.
HCG Recipe #2 - Mocha Frappucino
To the ice cubes add a dropper of coffee flavored Stevia and a dropper of mocha Stevia, or use coffee, ice cubes and mocha and vanilla Stevia drops. Blend to the texture of your desire. You have a mocha frappuccino!
You can come up with almost any flavor or combination s as there are flavors of Stevia drops galore. You can use Stevia in the packet (just be certain it is Stevia and not Stevia Raw as that product contains sugar!) if you prefer and fruit and ice just as well. The combinations are limitless! You will enjoy the relief on a hot summer's day!
For dessert, you could even have your smoothie or frappuccino. If you used only Stevia drops it would not even count as a fruit or part of your calories for the day. Wouldn't that be fun!
Note: To increase the amount of the smoothie, increase the ice to about 1 cup to provide more volume and crush ice to a smoother consistency)
HCG Recipe #3 - Chicken with Ginger, Orange and Roasted Asparagus
Lunch or dinner is the ideal time to get your proteins when on the HCG diet and what better way to do that than with this delicious ginger orange chincken?
This recipe is easy to prepare and only requires a few ingredients:
- 3 1/ oz chicken breast, with skin removed
- Black pepper
- Orange cut in quarters
- 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tablespoon fresh ginger root, peeled and minced (about 1/2-1 inch piece)
- 1/2 tsp Basil
- Juice of half Lemon
Preheat pan over medium heat. Sprinkle chicken with pepper. Add chicken to pan and stir-fry on all sides about 5-10 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Squeeze the juice of orange quarters over the chicken. Peel and separate the orange into sections. Add the orange sections, ginger, lemon juice and basil to pan. Stir well. Cover and simmer for about 20-30 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Having cut off the ends of your asparagus, place each piece on a baking sheet of non-stick aluminum foil. Sprinkle the seasonings (1-2 cloves of minced garlic, 1/2 tsp Parsley and 1/4 tsp Oregano and pepper to taste) over the asparagus. Then wrap all ends of the foil up tightly to make a sealed "pocket." Roast for 15-20 minutes simultaneously while your chicken is simmering.
Viola! A yummy chicken and asparagus meal.
